Dr. David Wichnoski has lived in Charlotte most of his life. He attended local schools and received his B.S. degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Wichnoski performed residency training at WJB Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia, SC. This was a multidisciplinary approach to eye care which exposed him to many other areas of medicine and has prepared him well to become your primary care eye doctor. After completing his residency training in 1997, Dr. Wichnoski started Spectrum Eye Care the same year.   He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the NC State Optometric Society. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) and was chosen to pursue a residency specializing in ocular disease at Seidenberg-Protzko Eye Associates, in Bel Air, Maryland. She is originally from Maryland, but moved to North Carolina shortly after completing her residency. Dr. Osborne’s training and experience have prepared her well for the challenges of primary eye care and the use of technology in the diagnosis and management of eye disease. While practicing in the Charlotte area, she has thoroughly enjoyed providing specialized eye care as well as continuing to remain well versed in new technology and procedures that arise in the field. Dr. Osborne is a member of the American Optometric Association and the NC State Optometric Society. Go Gamecock Volleyball! She then headed to the Midwest to earn her Doctorate of Optometry at The Indiana University School of Optometry. She completed specialized externships focused in specialty contact lens and pre and post-operative care, with one of her favorites being ocular disease at the Quantico Naval Health Clinic. Today, Dr. Hackley practices with over 8 years of experience, 6 being with Spectrum Eye Care. As a practitioner, Dr. Hackley commits herself to a patient focused approach. She takes time to listen and understand the individual needs of each patient to ensure their best vision and ocular health outcomes. She believes that the best results come from a strong patient-doctor relationship. She keeps open communication with her patients as a top priority.
